Offered is a professional model George Scott game used H&B Louisville Slugger dating to the eight time Gold Glove first baseman's tenure with the Boston Red Sox circa 1977-79. Model P89 and "Boomer Scott" are stamped on the barrel which has also been signed by Scott in silver marker with a "Best Wishes #5 (1967)" inscription while George's 1977-79 era Red Sox uniform number 15 is written on the knob in black marker. Bat currently measures 36", weighs 35 ounces and shows medium use with ball marks, stitch marks, heavy pine tar and a 10" handle crack. (73A0222)
