Offered is the American League of Professional Baseball Clubs Uniform Player Contract which was signed by Fred "Dixie" Walker prior to his 1934 campaign with the New York Yankees. From the looks of things Dixie was paid $6,000 though he suffered a shoulder injury and only compiled 19 plate appearances on the season. The contract has also been signed by club owner Jacob Ruppert (secretarial) and American League President William Harridge. (55I0447)
