1960-63 Stan Musial St. Louis Cardinals H&B Louisville Slugger Professional Model Game Used Bat (MEARS A6)

Featured in this lot is a Stan Musial professional model H&B Louisville Slugger game used bat from the tail end of his Hall of Fame career with the St. Louis Cardinals. Model M159 is stamped on the knob along with Stan the Man's uniform number 6 written in black marker while Musial Model is stamped on the barrel in block letters.

This natural finished ash bat currently weighs 30 ounces, measures 34.5" in length and matches known player factory records with a round barrel and regular knob. It exhibits signs of heavy use with ball marks, bat rack marks and dead wood on the front of the barrel which has been repaired with 16 period nails. Handle remains uncracked.

Bat receives 5 points for matching known player factory records, 3 points for use and loses 2 points for the nails on barrel resulting in a final grade of MEARS A6.
