Juan Pizarro accomplished about everything a pitcher could. He authored two-no hitters during an 18-year career, was a part of the 1957 Braves championship squad and also pocketed two All-Star nods.
Not a bad career.
This size "46" jersey was donned by Pizarro when he served as a relief option for the 1973 Cubs. Consistent wear is exhibited on the knit pullover with fraying and identifier softness throughout. Applied in the collar is a period Wilson tag and "46 73 2 46" strip tag. The left sleeve contains a Cubs emblem patch.
A "73" year swatch is sewn in the tail.
Overall, a quality gamer from Piazarro's twilight.
