In each of his first two full seasons with the Cleveland Indians, Charles "LC" Spikes clubbed 20 homers. In the years that followed, Spikes' numbers dipped considerably. This 35-ounce, 35-inch H&B Louisville Slugger bat was used by Spikes during his final season with the Tribe.
The Signature model ash stick features the model number 016 on the barrel. It matches known player factory records, but shows only light signs of use in the form of light ball, rack and stitch marks with a 12-inch handle crack and light handle preparation. LC's Indians number 24 has been written on the end of the barrel in black marker.
Grade (MEARS A7): 5 points for matching player factory records, 1 point for light use and 1 for player traits (uniform number written on barrel end).
