Conley is best known for being the only person to win championships in two of the four major American sports, one with the Milwaukee Braves in the 1957 World Series and three Boston Celtics championships from 1959-61. He pitched for the Milwaukee Braves from 1954-58. Conley was an All Star in his first full season in the major leagues with Milwaukee and he pitched in Milwaukee's first World Series and only Championship season of the franchise.
