1971 Don Eddy Chicago White Sox Game Worn Road Jersey (MEARS LOA) Last Season Flannel

Offered is a Chicago White Sox road jersey dating to Don Eddy's 1971 season with the team. Wilson size 40 tag sewn to to tail above chain stitching reading "1971 Set 2" with an "Eddy" name tag sewn in the collar while "Chicago White Sox" is sewn to the front of the powder blue flannel jersey along with number 32 sewn to the reverse and left sleeve. "Chicago White Sox" has been restored to the front indicating jersey likely saw extended organizational use following the 1971 season. This also marks the final season the White Sox wore flannel jerseys as they switched to knits for the 1972 season. Light wear shown. (89R0292)
