Offered is a Boston Red Sox road jersey which was the style donned by slugger Carl Yastrzemski near the end of his Hall of Fame career with the club. 1979-86 era Wilson size 40 tag sewn to tail of jersey while "Boston" is sewn across the chest in navy tackle twill and number 8 is sewn to the reverse in the same style. No year tag present, though the stitching outline of a removed box tag is present beneath the Wilson tag. Moderate use shown. Without the year tag present, we cannot confidently attribute this as a game worn jersey to Yaz. The reason for the missing tag is unknown. (62P0328)
