This “trendy” box replaced the traditional red, white & navy official American League baseball boxes employed by Reach since the Deadball era. It also is what Reach used for the unveiling of the league’s new all-red-stitched official American League game ball. These now-elusive boxes were utilized during the earliest years of Joe DiMaggio’s career with the Yankees (and the closing seasons of Lou Gehrig). Overall exceptionally clean and colorful, this box also retains nice, original form.. (Y0345)
1934-1939 A. J. Reach Official American League Baseball Box (contained earliest all-red-stiched official AL baseball - William Harridge, President)
