Bill Veeck's first stab at knit jerseys left us with this powder blue uni. The offered jersey has its identifiers in two-color red-on-white tackle twill.

"White Sox" is filled in on front with chenille threads for a little source of aesthetics. The jersey is sun-faded so it was used for the majority of the 1972 campaign. The left sleeve contains "55". Our guess is this jersey was sent down for a little minor league seasoning given the extensive wear associated.

Some of the piping along the neckline has been lost from the affects of time. The zipper instituted on front is fully functional. "Geddes" is chainstitched to a swatch in the collar. The tail includes a "72 Set 2" swatch and Wilson size "44" period label.

An outstanding knit jersey from those always unique White Sox.
