While the Gary Sheffield experiment didn't end well in Milwaukee, the slugger did go to a Hall of Fame career.
A 500 home run club member, Sheffield wore this size "7 1/8" helmet exclusively in 1991 with the Brew Crew. We had deduced the vintage because of American/Canadian combo decals. This was used by teams to honor our involvement in the Gulf War.
Numerous scratches and signs of use are visible on the royal blue shell. "11" and American/Candadian flag decals adorn the reverse. "11" is written on the inner crown and an American Baseball Cap size "7 1/8" sticker resides inside as well.
