Pittsburgh has seen some of the game's greats. From Honus Wagner to Roberto Clemente to Barry Bonds, the Steel City has left an indelible mark on the great game.

Offered is a game worn cap with #42 written on the inside. Outstanding use is exhibited with sweat stains on the inside and on the vintage black marker number.

Because the Bucs used this style of cap for so long (1948-70) and there are a great number of players who wore #42, it is hard to pinpoint which player actually wore it.

A New Era tag is sewn in the headband.
