1949 Jess Dobernic Chicago Cubs Game Worn Home Jersey (MEARS LOA)

Offered is a Chicago Cubs home jersey which was originally issued to Jess Dobernic for his 1949 season with the club. Wilson, size 42 and "Dobernic" tags sewn in collar with a 49 year tag sewn in the tail while a "Cubs" logo and number 17 are also sewn to the flannel jersey. The 1949 Cubs roster also lists Warren Hacker and Bob Rush as wearing #17 at points during the season. Heavy wear. (82G0219)
