Offered is a New York Mets home jersey dating to 1979 NL MVP Keith Hernandez's first season with the team in 1983. Rawlings size 42 tag sewn in collar with a strip tag reading "17 83 1" while "Mets", number 17 and a "Hernandez" nameplate are also sewn to the blue pinstriped white knit pullover. Hernandez has also signed the front of the jersey in blue marker. Light to moderate wear shown. Final Grade: MEARS A10 with no point deduction for light to moderate wear as it is commensurate with Hernandez only appearing in 51 home games following his midseason trade from the Cardinals to the Mets.
