Offered is a Seattle Mariners road jersey dating to Harold Reynolds 1987 season with the team. Reynolds lead the AL in stolen bases in 1987 with 60 bags swiped, which according to Reynolds prompted a phone call from All Time Stolen Base King Rickey Henderson, who himself was well accustomed with leading the AL in yearly thefts. Reynolds thought he was getting a congratulatory call until Rickey said, "Sixty stolen bases? You ought to be ashamed. Rickey would have 60 at the break." before promptly hanging up the phone, leaving Harold to contemplate the dial tone. Rawling size 40 tag sewn inside tail with a Set 2 1987 flag tag while "Mariners", number 4 and a "Reynolds" nameplate are also sewn to the grey knit jersey. Light wear shown. (95W0100, 2968)
