2008 Joba Chamberlain New York Yankees Home Game Jersey (MEARS LOA)

Offered is a New York Yankees home jersey which was issued to electric hurler Joba Chamberlain during his first full season in 2008. After exploding onto the scene in the late months and postseason of 2007 Chamberlain would post a very respectable 2.60 earned run average over 100 innings split between the rotation and bullpen, good for an 8th place finish in AL Rookie of the Year balloting.

Majestic MLB Authentic Collection tag sewn to the tail of the jersey along with size 50 and 2008 flag tags. The Yankees iconic interlocking NY logo is sewn to the chest in navy tackle twill while Joba's uniform number 62 is sewn to the reverse in the same fashion. Right sleeve features a 2008 All Star Game patch, while the left features a patch commemorating the final season at Yankee Stadium. Light use shown. (61O0154)
