The ever-imposing CC Sabathia struck the fear of god in whoever dared dig in to the plate, especially lefties.
This massive size "56" dri-fit Majestic jersey was worn by CC during the 2007 campaign. Moderate use is shown with puckering on the three-color identifiers (silver spackle twill built in) and light fraying.
A rubberized Majestic tag and size indicator are shown in the tail. The inner side gusset is where most of the magic occurs as four labels are sewn in: "2007" (year), "+3 SLV," "+2" body" and "0063" inventory code.
Sabathia signed the reverse in black felt tip. Authentication comes via an MLB hologram (BB 862267). It is listed as autographed jersey with a session date of Feb. 26, 2008. This was done on the game worn jerseys. Unless the jersey was witnessed by an MLB official and taken off in his presence, the jersey would be classified as "autographed" or "game-issued." Make no bones about it, this is one of the finest Sabathia game worn treasures from his days with the Tribe.
