Dwyane Wade has emerged as the leader of the Miami Heat, with apologies to teammates Lebron James and Chris Bosh.
When a big basket is needed or defensive stop vital, Wade is usually the ignitor. Game worn All-Star mementos are among the hardest to locate. In most instances, players keep their equipment from All-Star games.
Sourced from a family member of Wade's, are these size "44" shorts. Constructed out of a dazzle cloth material, the shorts were worn during the 2006 All Star Game in Houston. For the record, Wade hit the game-winning shot on a tip-in. Later in the year, Wade won his first NBA championship.
These very shorts were used by Wade during his midseason moment. Sewn in the waistline are the following tags: size "44" (flag) and 2006 All Star Houston Reebok manufacturer's tag. NBA star emblems accentuate both sides and "HOUSTON" is embroidered on the backside. Wade signed the front in silver paint pen.
The shorts were given by Wade to a family member and have never been offered until now. Consigned from MEARS Staff.
