1991-93 Kevin Maas New York Yankees Louisville Slugger Professional Model Game Used Bat (MEARS A9)

Featured in this lot is a Kevin Maas professional model Louisville Slugger game used bat from his time with the New York Yankees in the early 1990's. Model number P89 is stamped on the barrel along with Maas and New York Yankees in block letters. Kevin's uniform number 24 is written on the barrel in black marker while a cross symbol is inked on the knob.

This flame treated ash bat currently weighs 32 ounces, measures 34" in length and matches known player factory records with a regular knob and round barrel. It exhibits signs of heavy use with ball marks, deeply embedded stitch marks, bat rack marks and a heavy application of pine tar. Handle remains uncracked.

Bat receives 5 points for matching known player factory records, 3 points for use and 1 point for player use traits resulting in a final grade of MEARS A9.
