1986-92 Dave Magadan/Darryl Strawberry New York Mets Batting Helmet (MEARS LOA)

Offered is a game worn New York Mets batting helmet dating to circa 1986-92. American Baseball Cap size 7 1/8 decal applied inside helmet along with Darryl Strawberry's uniform number 18 written in black marker on the top pad and "1986" written in blue marker above the padded leather sweatband. Outline of removed "Magadan" name labels also visible on the top of the brim and the reverse of the helmet underneath the ABC decal. Moderate wear shown with the back pad having come loose from the shell. (96X0151)
