Pete Rose gave Montreal a little spark near the conclusion of the 1984 season following his release from Philadelphia.

When the Hit King was pursing his 4,000th hit, he warmed up in this size "44" batting practice jersey. Light use, as would be expected from a pullover worn for at most 95 games is exhibited. A slight stain appears on the team insignia on front. Both sets of numbers are made in two-tone red-on-white tackle twill.

Situated in the collar is a Wilson size "44" tag. Rose executed an autograph below the "expos" front reference.

We have included a scan of a Getty Image (81478352) showing Rose wearing a similar style of knit pullover. An LOA will attend stating this jersey was obtained directly from the Braves equipment manager in '84.
