1983-84 Carl Yastrzemski Boston Red Sox Louisville Slugger Professional Team Index Model Game Used Bat (MEARS LOA)

Offered is a professional model Carl Yastrzemski game used Louisville Slugger. Model C271 is stamped on the barrel along with "Yastrzemski" in block letters while Carl's uniform number 8 is written on the knob in black marker. As a contract holder, it is unknown why this bat was issued as a block letter.

This hickory finished ash bat currently measures 34", weighs 33 ounces and shows heavy use with ball marks, stitch marks, and dead wood with slight grain separation throughout the barrel. The handle remains uncracked. (62P0265)
