Offered is a Chicago Cubs jersey which appears to have been prepared in tribute to Ryne Sandberg. Wilson size 42 tag sewn in collar with a strip reading "23 82 1 42" while a circular Cubs logo, number 23 and a team logo patch are also sewn to the blue pinstriped white knit pullover. While jersey shows wear & is of professional quality, MEARS cannot conclusively attribute issuance to or wear by Ryne Sandberg as the tagging in the collar is not original to the jersey with the outline of previously applied tagging visible.
