1982-83 Ron Kittle Chicago White Sox Louisville Slugger Professional Model Game Used Bat (MEARS A10)

Offered for auction in this lot is a Ron Kittle professional model Louisville Slugger game used bat from his time with the Chicago White Sox in the early 1980's. Model number K148 is stamped on the signature model barrel while Kittle has written MINE is large black letters on the knob.

This flame treated ash bat currently weighs 34 ounces, measures 35" in length and matches known player factory records with a large knob and cupped barrel. It exhibits signs of heavy use with ball marks, deeply embedded stitch marks and a heavy application of pine tar. Handle remains uncracked.

Bat receives 5 points for matching known player factory records, 3 points for use and 2 points for player use traits resulting in a final grade of MEARS A10.
