This framed 11" x 14" photo depicts New York Giants second sacker Bobby Thomson being mobbed at home plate by his teammates after hitting the "Shot Heard Round the World" off of Brooklyn Dodgers hurler Ralph Branca. Both the principals have signed the photo in blue marker with Thomson also inscribing the date "Oct. 3, 1971" of the historic occurrence. (A0226)
