The 1980 Philadelphia Phillies season was the team's 98th season in Major League Baseball (MLB) and culminated with the Phillies winning the World Series at home by defeating the Kansas City Royals in Game 6 on October 21, 1980.

In his 2nd year with the Phillies, Pete Rose led his new team to a World Series victory. This shirt was supplied to Rose for his World Championship run.

On March 8th, 1980, Pete was photographed wearing this exact shirt for the start of this historic season. Shirt has been photo matched by PSA/DNA using their photo match service (cert included). Although only one early picture was found to provide the photo match, it is almost a certainty Rose wore this shirt for additional games during the 1980 season. Moderate, even wear. MEARS has also reviewed the uniform and assigned it the perfect MEARS A10 grade. . TriStar Cert 7036151 for inscribed signature. PSA AT00368 attends. JSA for additional signatures on jersey and pants.
