1978 Roy Lee Jackson New York Mets Game Worn Road Jersey (MEARS LOA)

Offered is a New York Mets road jersey dating to Roy Lee Jackson's brief tenure with the team during the 1978 season. Rawlings size 40, Set 1 1978 & "40 78 31" tags sewn inside tail while "Mets", number 31 and a team logo patch are also sewn to the grey two button knit pullover. Heavy wear shown indicating likely extended organizational use as Jackson only appeared in 1 road game in 1978. Carry over for Major League use the following season is eliminated from consideration as the Mets added nameplates to their jerseys in 1979 & no nameplate is present on this jersey nor was one ever applied.
