Offered is a professional model Ed Kirkpatrick game used H&B Louisville Slugger bat which dates to the end of the well-traveled infielder's career with the Milwaukee Brewers in 1977. Model M110 stamped on the signature barrel while Kirkpatrick's uniform number 3 is written on the knob of the bat in black marker.
Bat currently measures 35", weighs 31 ounces and shows signs of heavy use with ball marks, stitch marks, bat rack marks, cleat marks, a medium application of pine tar and a 8" handle crack.
Bat originates from the collection of former major league hurler Ken "The Bulldog" Sanders who spent 10 years in the Big Leagues, including a 1971 season with the Milwaukee Brewers which saw him lead the league in games (83), games finished (77) and saves (31) all while posting a 1.91 ERA.
