Offered is a professional model Merv Rettenmund game used H&B Louisville Slugger dating to the 1977-79 label period which Merv split between the San Diego Padres and California Angels. Model C271 is stamped on the signature barrel while various black marker notations are present on the knob. Bat currently measures 34", weighs 29 ounces and shows moderate use with ball marks, stitch marks and bat rack marks. Handle remains uncracked. (71Y0420)
