The White Sox have been on the on the cutting edge style-wise throughout their existence. One of the most interesting innovations occurred when they sported Disco style jerseys in the mid '70s to early '80s. Well, these were coined disco era, softball style or even pajama jerseys by some. No matter what you called them, the White Sox '70s and early '80s jerseys were unforgettable.
This size "42" pullover jersey was worn by mainstay Chet Lemon during his time with the palehose. All of the identifiers are created in single-color midnight navy and are unique to the White Sox of the this time period.
The collar sports a Rawlings size tag. And who could forget that open collar on front. The jersey shows decent overall use with some fraying and letter/number softness.
