1976-79 Reggie Smith Los Angeles Dodgers Adirondack Professional Model Game Used Bat (MEARS A8)

Featured in this lot is a Reggie Smith professional model Adirondack game used bat from his time with the New York Yankees in the late 1970's. Model number 279B is stamped on the knob along with Reggie's uniform number 8 written in black marker while Reggie Smith is stamped in block letters on the barrel of this Big Stick.

This ash bat currently weighs 35 ounces, measures 34.5" in length and matches known player factory records with a regular knob and round barrel. It exhibits signs of medium use with ball marks and a light application of pine tar. Handle remains uncracked.

Bat receives 5 points for matching known player factory records, 2 points for use and 1 point for a documented uniform number resulting in a final grade of MEARS A8.
