Offered is a collection of game worn/used items dating to Larry Biittner's tenure with the Chicago Cubs circa 1976-79. Included are a pinstriped Wilson size 44 home jersey with a strip reading "26 76 2 44" sewn in the collar and the matching Wilson size 40 uniform pants with a strip reading "76 2 40 26" sewn in the waistband. "Tracy" written on strip tag in jersey which along with residue on the right sleeve from a removed patch indicated likely extended organizational use. Also included is a 35" professional model M110 Biittner H&B Louisville Slugger dating to the 1977-79 label period. Bat shows moderate use with scattered markings, pine tar and a glued handle crack. An original 11" x 12.5" photo of Biittner in action with the Cubbies will also attend. (78F0574)
