Lot #236:

1974 Astronaut 1st Five Planet of the Apes 8" MEGO Type 1 Action Figure (MEARS LOA)

In MEGO's decade-long tenure of action figure production, its time producing Planet of the Apes figures could be seen as the company's Renaissance. Even today, the vast collection of 8" POTA figures is highly sought by both toy collectors and fans of the unforgettable film.

Offered here is an original Type 1 Astronaut figure. There is a reproduced belt and a cracked helmet, but apart from that, it has held up well through the years. G0004
