1974-75 Paul Popovich Pittsburgh Pirates Signed "69 Cubs" H&B Louisville Slugger Professional Model Game Used Bat (MEARS LOA/JSA)

Offered is a professional model K44 Paul Popovich H&B Louisville Slugger dating to his tenure with the Pittsburgh Pirates circa 1974-75 which has been signed on the barrel by Popovich along with a "69 Cubs" inscription. Bat currently measures 36", weighs 33.5 ounces and shows heavy use with ball marks, stitch marks, bat rack marks, grain swelling, pine tar & Popovich's uniform number 24 written on the knob in faded marker. "JB 23" written on barrel's end in darker marker indicating likely multi player or extended organizational use. (50Z0029)
