On July 3rd, 1973, Mike Schmidt launched this baseball at Wrigley Field off pitcher Milt Pappas for his 10th career homerun. Official Charley Feeney National League baseball. The provenance comes in the form of handwritten notations from both Pappas and Schmidt.

Pappas wrote on the side panel, “Mike Schmidt hit this ball from HR 10, Milt Pappas, 7-3-73 at Wrigley Field”. On the adjacent panel, the ball is signed, “Mike Schmidt HR #10”.

Ball shows heavy use with visible hit mark. LOA MEARS.
