The Baltimore Orioles took a backseat to nobody when it game to style in the 1960s. Those bright orange colors could be seen from a mile away.
This size "42" flannel button-up was attributed to pitcher Merv Rettenmund and then handed down to Jesse Jefferson when he played for the Bluefield Orioles. The outline of where "14", Rettenmund's number in 1968 and '69 is present on both sides. A name was taken off the back and "Jefferson" was subsequently added.
Orange/black/orange piping surrounds the collar and both sleeve ends and the unmistakable original MLB 100th Anniversary patch still resides on the left sleeve, although original, has been professional replaced.
Sewn in the tail is a Wilson size tag and "1969 Set 1" swatch.
