San Diego has had an interesting array of colors through the years. Brown and mustard yellow never looked as good as they served as the Padres team colors.

This size "7 1/8" cap was most likely worn by Larry Stahl as he wore #14 from 1969 (Padres' first year) until 1972. In '73 Ivan Murrell wore the number. This type of hat was worn from '69 through '73. It all likelihood, Stahl wore the cap.

Outstanding, season-long use is exhibited on the cap with moderate wear on the leather headband. No cracking is evident. "14" is markered on the underside in black ink.
