Offered are a pair of 35" H&B Louisville Slugger black bats commemorating the 1968 World Champion Detroit Tigers & 1968 National League Champion St. Louis Cardinals. Bats are each stamped with numerous team member names in both signature & block letter styles including the likes of Mayo Smith, Bill Freehan, Jim Northrup, Willie Horton, Norm Cash, Al Kaline, Denny McLain, Red Schoendienst, Lou Brock, Curt Flood, Mike Shannon, Bob Gibson, Steve Carlton & more. Bats originate from the collection of longtime Chicago Cubs front office executive Salty Saltwell and remain housed in their original mailing box. (54D0270)
