1967-68 Reggie Smith Boston Red Sox Rookie Era H&B Louisville Slugger Professional Model Game Used Bat (MEARS A7)

Featured in this lot is a Reggie Smith professional model H&B Louisville Slugger game used bat from when he first broke into the majors with the Boston Red Sox in 1967-68. Model number U1 is stamped on the knob along with Reggie's uniform number 7 written in black marker.

This flame treated ash bat currently weighs 32 ounces, measures 34" in length and matches known player factory records with a flare knob and round signature model barrel. It exhibits signs of light use in the form of a scattering of bat rack marks. Handle remains uncracked.

Bat receives 5 points for matching known player factory records, 1 point for use and 1 point for a documented uniform number resulting in a final grade of MEARS A7.
