Offered is a game worn Chicago White Sox road jersey dating to their 1967-68 seasons. MacGregor size 38 tag sewn in collar while laundry instructions and a MacGregor Set 2 1967 tag is sewn to the interior tail. Number 2 is sewn to the jersey in navy and white tackle twill, though this number is not original to the jersey. Evidence also exists of name removal on the reverse and of patch removal from the left sleeve, indicating this jersey was worn by more than one player over the course of multiple seasons with the most likely candidates being Dick Kenworthy and Rich Morales who both donned number 2 during the 1968 season, the final season this style was worn by the Pale Hose. Heavy use is evident throughout and especially on the left side of the jersey. Great opportunity for style collectors. (G0268)
