Offered is a Boston Red Sox home jersey which was originally issued to six time All Star Frank Malzone near the end of his tenure with the club circa 1965 and saw extended organizational use afterward. "Red Sox" and number 11 are sewn to the white flannel jersey in red on navy double felt while the area of the tail where the McAuliffe manufacturer's tag would typically be sewn has been repaired with a 3.5" x 5.5" flannel patch. "1970" and "Size 40" are written on the tail in faded black marker while the tail has been signed in black marker by infielder Billy Harrell, who spent part of 1961 with the Red Sox and played for the club's Seattle and Toronto affiliates between 1962 & 1966. Heavy use shown, though the name and number remain original to the jersey. (65S0277)
