1965 Luis Aparicio Baltimore Orioles H&B Louisville Slugger Professional Model Game Used Bat (MEARS Authentic)

Offered for auction in this lot is a Luis Aparicio professional model H&B Louisville Slugger game used bat from his 1965 campaign with the Baltimore Orioles. Model number P72 is stamped on the knob.

This ash bat currently weighs 31 ounces, measures 34.5" in length and matches known player factory records with a regular knob and round signature model barrel. It exhibits signs of heavy use with ball marks, deeply embedded stitch marks and dead wood. Overall bat shows signs of abuse with a three piece section missing from the barrel's reverse and two screws applied in an attempt to hold the remaining wood in place.

MEARS grades this bat as authentic.
