Offered is a Pittsburgh Pirates flannel road jersey vest which appears to have been prepared in tribute to Roberto Clemente. MacGregor size 42 tag sewn in collar with "Clemente" embroidered on the tail and a loose Set 2 1965 tag sewn inside the placket while "Pirates" and number 21 are also sewn to the jersey. While jersey appears to be of professional quality, MEARS cannot confirm issuance to or wear by Roberto Clemente due to style of MacGregor tagging in the collar being inconsistent with the 1965 year of issue indicated on the set tag.
