1963 Mickey Mantle Original John Rogers Archive Seattle Times B/W Photo New York Yankees 8" x 9"

Offered is a 1963 Mickey Mantle photo that shows the famed slugger being carried off the field on June 6, 1953. This B/W photo is an original John Rogers Archive photo. The photo is in Very Good-Excellent condition. The back of the photo has an UPI article explaining how Mantle received an injury by hitting the fence. The Yankees legend suffered a broken bone in his left foot and was sidelined. (59M0130)
