1962-64 Chris Cannizzaro New York Mets H&B Louisville Slugger Professional Model Game Used Bat (MEARS LOA) Inaugural Era

Offered is a professional model Chris Cannizzaro game used H&B Louisville Slugger dating to the backstop's tenure with the New York Mets during the earliest days of the franchise's existence circa 1962-64. Model T99 stamped on knob along with Cannizzaro's uniform number 8 written in slightly faded black marker. Bat currently measures 35", weighs 31.5 ounces and shows heavy use with ball marks, bat rack marks, pine tar, grain swelling/slight deadwood and a cracked handle repaired with tape & three period nails. What appears to be a small mounting hole is also drilled in the barrel's end. Cannizzaro's 1962 Topps & 1962-82 20 Years of Mets Baseball cards will also attend though they have some bending from being stored in the tube with the bat. (03E0024)
