Offered is a 3.5" x 5.5" postcard capturing the Sacramento restauranteur and baseball fan Sam Gordon returning Roger Maris's record breaking 61st home run ball to the man himself. Reverse of postcard contains story detailing Gordon's purchase of the ball for $5,000 from Sal Durante of Brooklyn who caught it in the stands at Yankee Stadium and then its eventual reunion with Roger.
