Offered is a collection of four game used bats. Full breakdown is as follows...
1980-83 Keith Moreland Philadelphia Phillies/Chicago Cubs Louisville Slugger. Model J93 stamped on signature barrel while model number and Moreland's uniform number written on knob in black marker. 35", 32 ounces with ball marks, stitch marks and bat rack marks. Handle remains uncracked.
1977-79 Barry Foote Expos/Phillies/Cubs H&B Louisville Slugger. Model S2 stamped on signature barrel while model number and uniform number 8 are written on the knob and barrel's end. Foote wore uniform number 9 during this H&B label period so it is possible the bat was used by one of his teammates who wore number 8, Gary Carter in 1977 with Montreal or Bob Boone in 1977/78 with Philadelphia. Bat measures 34.5" and weighs 31 ounces with minimal use evident. Handle remains uncracked.
1986-88 Thad Bosley Chicago Cubs/Kansas City Royals Louisville Slugger. Model C271 stamped on the signature barrel while the model number and Thad's uniform number 27 is written on the knob in black marker. Bat measures 34" and weighs 31 ounces with ball marks, stitch marks, dead wood with separation and tape residue on the barrel, which indicates bat may have been repaired & carried over for batting practice use after cracking.
1961-64 Univ. of Illinois-6 H&B Louisville Slugger. Model W183 stamped on knob while barrel features a "Univ. Illinois-6" stamping. Bat measures 33" and weighs 30 ounces with ball marks, stitch marks, slight grain separation and a 17" handle crack which has been repaired with two period nails. (58L0228)
