1960 Milwaukee Braves H&B Louisville Slugger Professional Model Coaches Bat w/ Period Handwriting (MEARS LOA)

Offered is a professional model K100 Milwaukee Braves H&B Louisville Slugger coaches bat dating to circa their 1960 season. Handwritten notation on barrel appears to read "July 3 1960 Joy Jay St. Louis Cardinals vs Milwaukee Braves", likely written by the original recipient of the bat to commemorate the occasion. Bat currently measures 36", weighs 22 ounces and shows heavy use with ball marks, bat rack marks, grain swelling and a taped handle. (92T0393)
