1956 Togetherness Award Presented to Mrs. Clarke Griffith From Tiffany & Company Sterling Silver

Talk about respect, Mrs. Clarke Griffith was presented this very sterling silver tray, made by Tiffany Company, April 5, 1956.

Our guess is this was given to Mrs. Griffith around Opening Day 1956 as her Hall of Fame husband died Oct. 27, 1955.

"Togetherness Award Presented to Mars. Clark Griffith by McCall's Magazine Washington, D.C. April 4, 1956" is engraved on front. A few surface scratches present. Weighs 1 lb. 9 ounces.

Engraved on back is "Tiffany & Co. Sterling Silver". We will add a photo of the reverse shortly.
