1954-65 circa New York / San Francisco Giants Game Worn Satin Jacket (MEARS LOA)

Offered is a game worn New York / San Francisco Giants warm up jacket dating to circa the 1954-65 circa. Jacket is constructed of lined black satin with black and orange striped cuffing around the collar, sleeve ends and waist. "Giants" is embroidered on the left sleeve in orange thread while a Tim McAuliffe manufacturer's tag is sewn in the right pocket along with a size 42 tag sewn in the left pocket. Letter detailing the provenance of the jacket from the Howard Muller Collection will also attend. Muller family history attributes the jacket to Leo Durocher though MEARS can not substantiate the claim given the lack of identifiers present on the jacket itself. (62P0191)
